Thomas spotted this poster advertising a free resume workshop. The main typo is that the word YOUR should be YOU’RE, but the glaringly excessive quotation marks and underlining made this poster very shameful. Send Us More Shame

Do you get annoyed by shameful typos? Have a digital camera, a scanner, or a computer you can use to capture web-site typos? Send them to us, and we’ll post them on this web site.

For each typo submission, we’d like the following info:

  1. Where was the photo taken? Be specific, such as “The French Poodle Restaurant, in Liverpool, New York.”
  2. When did you spot the typo? If it has been where you spotted it for years, tell us that too.
  3. In case we can’t tell from the photo, what is the typo?
  4. What is the category of the typo? You can see the categories we use listed in the right-side menu of the web site.
  5. What is your name?
  6. How did you capture the typo, by camera, scanner, copying from a web-site, or other?
