As it says in the text boxes, this poster, seen at Wilson Farms, has the foreign punctuation wrong. Why give it any foreign punctuation at all, if you’re not going to do it right?

Leaving off the “d” in a past-tense verb or a past participle is a fairly common error, probably the result of writing what one thinks one hears without seeing it in print or considering the grammar. Other common examples are “use to” and “ice tea.”

We don’t know why people use apostrophes to indicate plurals when apostrophes are meant for possessives. Sent in by Osea.
